Qualifications

Required Experience

Candidates must have a master’s degree or equivalent; or 4-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certification Requirements

Administrative License preferred

Other Requirements

Directs all functions of Special Education and Student Services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate coordinators/supervisors. The Director works collaboratively with school division staff and outside agencies to ensure the successful provision of educational services to students and families in compliance with state and federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are to coordinate, supervise and evaluate Student Services to include Special Education, Psychological Services, Preschool Programs, School Social Work Services, and Student Services.
