Qualifications

Required Experience

Indiana allows individuals with experience to be licensed as an adjunct teacher or a bachelors in Education.

Certification Requirements

-Valid Indiana Teachers License
-Musical Instrument Proficiency
-Strong background in music theory and musicianship
-Basic piano skills
-Ability to work well with children of all ages
-All certifications required for licensing

Other Requirements

-Effective classroom management skills
-Ability to assess and grade students progress
-Direct school musicals or ensembles for public performances
-Collaborate with other teachers as needed
-Strong communication & organizations skills
-Teamwork oriented
-Willing to help with extra curricular organizations and events
-Other duties as assigned
