SUMMARY
Assist the Director of Student Services in the supervision, development, implementation, and evaluation of child find activities, evaluation, eligibility processes and procedures in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are to provide on-going professional development for building-level staff/teachers, guidance on local policy and procedures governing special education, as well as state and federal regulations.
Provide direct support and professional development for building-level staff/teachers connected to local, state, and federal.
Other Requirements
Provide direct support and professional development for building-level staff/teachers connected to local, state, and federal regulations in regard to child study, special education evaluations, eligibility determinations
Provide consultation to building administrators in all aspects of child find responsibilities, interventions, and eligibility determinations for IDEA.
Assist in the Manifestation Determination Review process
Assist with the supervision and evaluation of related service staff
Support with the development of the special education Administrator handbook and Division handbook
