Certification Requirements

Special Education Teacher for High School Life Skills classroom. The Life Skills program focuses on everyday skills for students with disabilities. These skills may include, personal /social skills, hygiene, independent living such as cooking and clothing care, work competencies, work experience, "on the job" training, and functional academic skills.

Must have or be eligible for a Virginia Teaching Certification.
