Rural educators more times than not have to wear many hats, and Michael Melton, a high school social studies and law teacher in Whitesburg, Kentucky, is the perfect example of that. Michael has been a principal, an athletic director, a volleyball coach, a football coach, an officiate for sports, and much more. He sees teaching in a rural place such as Whitesburg as only positive.
