Jill Underly is a former teacher and the district administrator for the Pecatonica Area School District, which is located in the rolling hills of southern Wisconsin. The Pecatonica Area School District is a hub for its rural community, and Jill's sense of place is clearly evident in her Capital Times opinion piece, "Give Rural Schools The Tools They Need To Thrive."

Thanks to Jill for allowing us to share her rural public school policy perspective.
You can read Jill Underly's full opinion piece here.
