Qualifications
Required Experience
Responsible for developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive school program to serve the academic, social/emotional and career development needs of students with an emphasis on crisis intervention, social skills and prevention activities so that students will be better able to learn.
Certification Requirements
Must hold a master’s degree in counseling from an accredited college or university and valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate School Counselor certificate.
Other Requirements
- Prior counseling experience at the High School and/or Middle School level is preferred.
- Completion of all district required trainings within sixty (60) calendar days from date of hire.
- Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint clearance.
