Certification Requirements
Master's degree and be a fully certified administrator with a principal certification valid in AZ.
IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Issued by Department of Public Safety (DPS)
Other Requirements
A few responsibilities include the following.
Develops and evaluates educational program to ensure conformance to state and school board standards.
Develops and coordinates educational programs through meetings with staff, review of teachers' activities, and issuance of directives.
Understands and complies with ADE policies, and Federal, State and local mandates.
Understands and complies with legislation pertaining to education.
Evaluates, monitors and develops staff performance.
Confers with teachers, students, and parents concerning educational and behavioral problems in school.
