Richmond School is the oldest continuously running school in Lassen County, CA. Susanville sits in the Northeastern corner of CA, an hour from Nevada and Oregon. Susanville is in the shadows of where the Sierra Nevada Mountain range ends and the Cascades begin. The town was a stopping point before pioneers crossed over the Sierra Nevada Mountains and was historically a logging town. Numerous lakes and wild trout steams surround Susanville, with outstanding hiking and hunting opportunities. Sorry, no Home Depot or Target.... Reno is an hour away!
